Rev. John Wagner
Rev. John Wagner is the minister of Covenant Free Presbyterian Church in Columbia, South Carolina. For almost fourteen years he was the pastor of Orlando FPC until the Lord called him to pioneer a new church in Columbia in the spring of 2002. In the fall of that year he was appointed professor of homiletics at GRS. He has been a member of the Free Presbyterian Church for over twenty-five years and has served the denomination in a number of capacities including moderator of the standing commission of the presbytery for North America. Mr. Wagner, who has a bachelor of arts degree in speech from Bob Jones University and the master of divinity degree from Whitefield College of the Bible, has studied at Westminster Theological Seminary.
Mr. Wagner and his wife, Kim, have seven children-four girls and three boys-and two grandchildren. Mr. Wagner's hobbies include desktop publishing.

John W. Wagner, a 1987 graduate of St. Philip Catholic Central High School, has been recently promoted to Colonel, USAF. His promotion ceremony was held on 1 September, 2011 at the Pentagon, Washington, D.C.. His current position is a Politico-Military Planner in the Iran Branch, Politico-Military Affairs, Middle East, Strategic Plans and Policy (J-5) Joint Chiefs of Staff, Washington D.C..
John graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1991. His various assignments included military launch vehicle and spacecraft test, check out and launch, spacecraft mission operations, Military warning, war games, and exercises and higher headquarters staffs. He commanded the 45th Launch Support Squadron, Cape Canaveral, Florida, through twelve successful launches of upgraded intelligence, navigation, communications and warning spacecraft. He also served as the deputy commander of the 45th Launch Group.
Col. Wagner was first to report multiple Chinese missile launches toward Taiwan in 1996. He also served as speech writer for AFSPC Commander.
His parents are John and Sarah Wagner of Fair Lake.
