John Toth, an owner of MetroNational, said he plans to forward to Garcia documents showing that the company paid the workers.Toth authorized Pilot Construction in writing to pay the workers from money that Pilot owed.Exactly how much money Pilot paid out is in dispute.Toth said Pilot paid him around $45,000 and owed him another $45,000.Although Pilot contends that it paid Toth's company, Toth said yesterday that if his company had been paid, its workers would have been paid.Pilot didn't pay, he said."If we had the money we'd pay the guys," Toth said.
