Five Wild River athletes are scheduled to compete at Ironman Wisconsin, Sept. 9th, 2012: Carin Anderson, John Sosniecki, Tim Huntley, Mark Bittner, Suzann Mouw.

(River Falls, WI) was the 3rd place winner in the 45-49 age class with a very respectable time of 4 hours, 50 min. and 44 seconds.

Club member John Sosniecki (River Falls, WI) raced in this years Triple-T triathlons in Ohio on May 11-13.
The 3 day event consists of a sprint tri on friday evening, 2 olympic distance triathlons (1 in reverse order) Saturday morning and afternoon, and a 1/2 Iron distance event to wrap things up on Sunday.
Awards are givern for individual events, and combined times, for solo age groups, masters, teams, and other catagories.
finished the Friday Sprint with a time of 31 min.
followed on Saturday with a time of 2:34:43 for the morning tri, and 2:47:11 in the PM version of the Olympic distances.
On Sunday, John
had a 5:56:01, in the 1/2 Iron, for a 3 day combined time of 11 hours, 49 minutes and 01 second!!
A great preformance followed up by some needed and well deserved R & R!!

2 Club members finish 1st Ironman!!
On the 10th anniversary of 9-11, and a nearly perfect September day in Madison, 5 Wild River club members finished Ironman Wisconsin.
(River Falls, WI) finished his
14th Ironman distance race in a time of 10 hours, 54 minutes and 32 seconds.

(River Falls, WI) is an Ironman veteren, having completed more than a dozon, including 2008 IM World Championship in Hawaii.
ohn is a tremendous biker, and hopes his
wheels can propel him to another qualifing time for Hawaii at this year's IM Wisconsin.
Club member John Sosniecki (River Falls, WI) led the way with a very strong bike leg (as usual) and finished in 4:40:25.
will use this as a warm up for IM Wisconsin in a few weeks.

finishing time of 5:09:40, which bettered her
course PR by 18 minutes!

John Sosniecki finishes another Ironman!
Nov. 6th, 2010, Wild River Triathlon Club member John Sosniecki (River Falls, WI) finished his 13th Ironman triathlon, and 2nd of 2010 (Wisconsin).
reported that the weather was unsesonably chilly (40's at swim start), so long sleeves and long pants were in order for the bike leg.

Near perfect conditions with cool morning temps, a slight breeze, and cloudless skies, brought out the spectators to see the Ironman
spectacle at Madison, WI Sunday, Sept. 12., and helped the competitors enjoy some great racing.
Many couse records fell, and around 1200 of a fields of 2800 atheletes finished an Ironman
for the first time.
(43-River Falls, WI) lead a 6 person Wild River crew into action, and finished the day with a very solid performance of 10 hours, 54 min.
