On Friday and Saturday the wind turbines were installed by John Sayler of JP Sayler & Associates and two of his employees, one from Boston, Mass. and one from California.
Woodland Winds and Murdoch Construction set up the 80-foot towers a few weeks ago, and when John Sayler
crew came, they installed the nacelle on each tower, which holds the generator and gear box and has the arbor to which the blades are bolted.

realizes people were hoping to have the project completed last year, he
wanted to ensure the turbines were in the best shape they could be before installing them.Sayler
said these are the first turbines he's
installed in Michigan.He's been working in the wind energy industry for 34 years and he's installed turbines all over the U.S., including at a number of schools.
