Miyamoto joined Lockheed Martin in 1985 and has held numerous technical and leadership positions in engineering. During his 25-year career with Lockheed Martin, Miyamoto has led the development of communications hardware for major ground and space applications, successfully delivering more than 32 advanced communications products to a variety of defense, civil and commercial space programs.
He is a graduate of California State University, Fresno, where he earned an electrical engineering degree. Among the recognitions Miyamoto has received in his professional career is Lockheed Martin's highest honor, the NOVA award.
