Senior Instructor and Sparring Coach/Judge
John McGarigal is a senior instructor who has been a student of Master Shin's for over 10 years.
He has been an instructor for seven years.
He has a third degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, a second degree in Hap Ki Do and a first degree in Shin Mu Do.
He serves as Master Shin's Tournament and Demonstration Director, is a trained coach and judge and has coached three gold medal winners on a national level (US Junior Olympics).
wife Anna have been married for over twenty years.
Their children are also students of Master Shin's
John, age 9, and Mary Kate, age 15, both have a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
John has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Syracuse University and currently works as a Project Manager at Mustang Engineering.
20 years to Instructor for 7 years
John is certified in infant/child and adult CPR and First Aid and maintains his certification as a child care provider for Jin's Tae Kwon Do by taking 15 hours of state-approved training.
