Teacher and author John D. Mays travels regularly to assist schools in this process.
For the past 13 years John has taught physics and mathematics at Regents School of Austin, a classical and Christian School, where he is the Director of the Laser Optics Lab.
At Regents School John has led efforts to develop mastery-oriented pedagogical practices in science and math, in the context of a Christian school with a strong focus on the humanities.
is the author of several books for students and teachers pertaining to science instruction, and has several other writing projects currently underway.
