OCEAN CITY - A Pennsylvania insurance company does not have to pay $3.1 million to an Ocean City woman who sued beverage magnate John C. Imbesi
for sexual harassment in 1997.
An Appellate Division panel ruled this week that $4.1 million - the total amount of the settlement - was unreasonable.
The woman, identified in court papers by the pseudonym Sally James to protect her privacy, received $1 million in compensation from another insurance company and Imbesi
, an Ocean City resident and the former president of the 7-Up Bottling Company of Philadelphia

demanded sexual favors from her
in 1995 and 1996.She
was later diagnosed with genital herpes, which she
contracted from Imbesi
