John T. Houk, President
John T. Houk is the President of UCP, originally coming on-board in 1996 to carry on the legacy that his father began in 1969. John oversees the Donor-Advised Fund program at UCP, and travels the country speaking to financial professionals on the advantages of DAFs at UCP. John previously worked as a Market Analyst at the Electronic Industries Association, as well as the U.S. Treasury Department. He has a B.A. from Virginia Tech.
Little-known fact: John still owns his high school car, a 1967 convertible Camaro, which he completely restored to original condition. The car recently took first place in a national Camaro competition! Even though the car is kept in the garage, he still lets his kids drive it anytime they like!
