John Hough of the Atascadero Police Department.He did not display a weapon, the officer said.The man took an undisclosed amount of money and drove off, Hough said.Two witnesses saw the man heading east on Capistrano Avenue in a dark red 1970s Chevrolet Camaro or Pontiac Firebird, he said.Police received a silent alarm at the same time that a bank employee called to report the robbery, Hough said.Hough said there is no indication that the Atascadero incident is related to the armed bank robbery in San Luis Obispo earlier this month.
