After 11 years at HealthSouth
in Athens, Site Coordinator John Goltz
seems to have found the right combination of treatment and inspiration.
"It is our belief that every patient deserves quality one-on-one care," Goltz
"I played two years of college baseball at Calhoun Community College
said."I had hopes to transfer to a four-year baseball program, but I injured my back and had to 'retire' from baseball."He
also had to undergo physical therapy.After finishing his studies at Calhoun, Goltz transferred to University of Alabama Birmingham and earned a bachelor's degree in fitness, then got certified as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant.He

"Before my son was born, I coached soccer for two years in Decatur and one year in Huntsville," Goltz
said."But now I have just enough time to work and spend time with my family."
