John Field (1772-1848)
Much of his career was spent working for John Miers Studio. John Miers (1758-1821) and John Field (1772-1848) During this period, John Field began working for Miers. Field proved to be the most talented of the silhouettists working under Miers and by 1823 Miers son, William, and Field became partners in the studio of Miers and Field. Field proved to be the most talented of the silhouettists working under Miers and by 1823 Miers son, William, and Field became partners in the studio of Miers and Field.
