John Dukovac of La Maison Homes disagrees and thinks generators will be the wave of the future."I think it's going to be a great seller," Dukovac said.He installed a generator in his home on the Manatee River five years ago and said the propane-powered system was a blessing during the hurricane season.Preferring propane or natural gas models, Dukovac plans to put generators in all his models and spec houses."During the storms, generators were the biggest commodity going.They are going to be a common item in the future," Dukovac said.Dukovac is not the only local builder to have installed a home generator.
