He is Chairman/CEO of Clearbrook Companies; Chairman of GCP Services; Managing Member of HDC Holdings; and the general partner of Corporate Capital Partners.
Previously, he served as a Senior Adviser to The Red Herring magazine; a Director of Digital Origin; a Managing Director of Merrill Lynch; a founding officer of Corporate Property Investors, an REIT now part of Simon Properties; and lectured at the Practising Law Institute on real estate finance.
has used technology advances consistently to enhance sustainable results for his
real estate and economic development initiatives.

John developed an interest in philanthropy as a scholarship student at Columbia University and has served on various boards and committees related to Columbia, Outward Bound USA, and other charities.

which now give preference to students from Kentucky.
