Updata Announces John Burton Named CEO of Nintex
WASHINGTON, DC - Updata Partners, a leading technology-focused growth equity firm, is pleased to announce that John Burton will join portfolio company Nintex Software as Chief Executive Officer.

Burton's assumption of the CEO role at Nintex
is a key milestone in the Company's evolution.
Commensurate with his new role, Burton will become an Operating Partner at Updata Partners and will continue to be actively involved with the firm.

Earlier in his career, John was with Legent Corporation, an international, publicly-traded enterprise software company, as president, COO and CEO, and which was sold to Computer Associates.
Prior to Legent, John co-founded Business Software Technology Inc. (BST), a successful VC-backed firm acquired by Legent, where he served as officer, COO and director.
John also served as executive chairman of Numara, an Updata portfolio company, which was acquired by BMC in 2012.
