FlightSafety International has promoted John Brasfield to manager of the company's Cessna Aircraft Maintenance Learning Center in Wichita, Kansas.
"John's experience with FlightSafety along with his management, technical and communications abilities, made him the ideal choice to manage our Cessna Maintenance Learning Center," said Greg McGowan, Vice President Operations.
John joined as an instructor, served as Program Manager for training on the Beechjet, Hawker 800XP, and Hawker Horizon and then as Director of Programs.
He most recently served as Assistant Manager of the Wichita Cessna Learning Center.
John is an fixed and rotary wing aircraft pilot and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Upper Iowa University in Fayette, Iowa, and a Master of Business Administration from Southwestern College in Wichita, Kansas.
He has been in the United States Army for nearly 25 years and a member of the Reserve since 1999.
He currently serves as Force Manager for the USAR Legal Command and was previously assigned as a Legal Assistant, Reconnaissance Squad Leader, Maintenance Officer and a Financial Management Officer prior to joining FlightSafety.
