John Boyette is senior vice president, investments and administration for Cox Enterprises, Inc., one of the nation’s leading media companies and providers of automotive services.
is responsible for strategic planning in areas of investment management, real estate and general insurance, as well as overseeing various operations of the company.
Boyette joined Cox in 1968 as a staff accountant, becoming accounting manager two years later.
When Cox Communications merged into Cox Enterprises in September 1985, Boyette became assistant treasurer of Cox Enterprises, and in January 1987, he was named vice president & treasurer.
He became vice president – controller of Cox Enterprises in 1989.
Boyette was named senior vice president of finance and administration for Cox Broadcasting in January 1998.
In 2003 he
moved to CEI
Boyette serves on the board of directors for the Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year Foundation and for Kennesaw State University Coles College.
A graduate of Augusta (Georgia) College, Boyette has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting.
