grew up as a first generation Italian in Easton, Pennsylvania, a small industrial town on the Delaware River.He has a B.A. from Hamline University, and in 1971 received his doctorate in Counselor Education.His
dissertation was The Effects of an Encounter Group Experience on Empathy, Respect, Congruence, and Self-Actualization. John has been a professional educator, track coach, Asst.
Dean of Students, counselor at the mental health center, and Associate Professor in Education at Penn State University
.He is also a licensed psychologist, and life and executive coach.He is a member of the American Psychology Association, and is now a member of International Coaching Federation.He is awaiting approval of this Professional Coaching Certificate (PCC) and is a graduate of the Institute for Life Coach Training, where he is a faculty member. John
describes himself as a learning junkie and is enrolled in a yearlong program with, 'COACHING AND MENTORING INTERNATIONAL from the United Kingdom.John
