As Chief Investment Officer of Rose Capital Advisors, Joe Mara is responsible for market analysis, manager due diligence, client suitability, risk management, and to act as a liason with the Dynasty Investment Committee as well as our institutional consulting partners, Callan Associates, Envestnet, and Wilshire Associates.
has had an illustrious and distinguished career in the financial services industry, which began in 1979.
For the past 35 years he has worked extensively in the international private client business, building and developing relationships with individuals, families, and corporate clients in 78 countries around the world.
Prior to joining the team at Rose Capital Advisors, Joe served as Director of New Business Development and Investor Relations at Fairholme Capital Management, where during his tenure, assets under management grew from ~$2 billion to over $21 billion.
Prior to Fairholme, Joe worked at Smith Barney in their Asset Management division as a Portfolio Manager, and later as the Director of the International Private Client Group.

Family Wealth Management- the first comprehensive financial planning and wealth management platform offered by Smith Barney- where he
was a direct report into Jamie Dimon.
Earlier in his career Joe worked with Lehman Brothers, where he opened and led their first international private client office outside the U.S. (London) and eventually became Regional Director for Europe and the Middle East.
Joe started his career with Merrill Lynch in New York as well as in London.
Joe received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Queens University in Kingston, Canada and also a Masters in Educational Communications from The State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany.
