of Sheldon, Iowa; his 2 daughters, Julie (and Curt) Boyd of Colleyville, TX and Jane Freeman and her friend, Larry Neises, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; step-son, Gary (and Tanya) Goodman of Ames, Iowa; his step-daughter, Sherry (and Robert) Hughes of Newton; 13 grandchildren; his 13 great-grandchildren; and 4 sisters, Gala DeGooyer of Arvada, Colorado, Patty (and Carl) Puhrmann of Hartley, Iowa, Betty (and Mick) Wilson of Milford, Iowa, and Peggy (and Jerry) Carstens of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
...Joe attended Sheldon High School and continued his education through AT&T, where he worked as a utility construction supervisor for 32 years, retiring in 1984. He was a member of the Eagles Club in Sheldon.
