Joe Ann Denning
on Friday announced her
retirement, which will become effective at the end of June.
The Telegraph reports (http://bit.ly/1gUTbcj) that Denning will have served in the position for three years and worked in the district for 27 years at the time of her retirement.
Denning joined the Peach County School System in 1987 as the assistant principal at Hunt Elementary School and later served in administrative roles before being named superintendent in July 2011.
said in school district news release that she's
proud of the system's accomplishments, and that serving has been an honor.
