Pensions Archive Trust - Former members
Jocelyn Blackwell started her career in pensions as an actuarial analyst at Towers Perrin in 1978. She then worked at the Wyatt Company and Mercer before starting her own firm, Dunnett Shaw & Partners in 1987. As Managing Director of Dunnett Shaw she launched the industry wide body Raising the Standard of Pensions Administration (now PASA) to improve the quality of administration services in pensions. After 18 years as an independent consulting firm, Jocelyn merged Dunnett Shaw with Higham Group in 2004. The combined business, Higham Dunnett Shaw, was sold to Capita in 2007. Jocelyn took a break from pensions to take an undergraduate degree at UCL in Anthropology. She now works as a non-executive director for Inside Pensions and as a trustee director for NOW: Pensions. She is a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute. Jocelyn was appointed a Director of The Pensions Archive Trust in 2014. She resigned as a Director in June 2016.

Having spent over 30 years in the pensions industry she is highly regarded as the Founding Director of Dunnett Shaw, which specialised in the provision of pensions administration consulting. She brings a wealth of experience to the team and assists the Board with state of the nation meetings with clients. Jocelyn also carries out adviser and service provider reviews for some Inside Pensions' clients. Life outside Pensions: Jocelyn can often be seen running through Richmond park and is also a keen supporter of the England Cricket team.

Trustee Director, NOW: Pensions Jocelyn Blackwell Trustee Director, NOW: Pensions Jocelyn has over 30 years' experience in the pensions industry. In 1987 she founded Dunnett Shaw, a management consultancy that specialised in advising clients on pension administration processes, systems and outsourcing. The business merged with Higham Group in 2005 to form Higham Dunnett Shaw, which was sold to Capita in 2007. Jocelyn was also the founder of the industry-wide body Raising Standards in Pensions Administration (now PASA) and chaired it for four years. She was the winner of the "First Woman of Finance Award" in 2005. She is currently Non-Executive Director at Inside Pensions, a specialist firm that provides independent scheme secretarial services to trustee boards.
