Hospital Center is proud to announce Joan Robertson
as the new associate vice president of patient care services effective December 3, 2012.

Ms. Robertson has been a nurse for over 35 years with clinical and administrative experience in maternal-child and behavioral health areas.
has also written articles on various topics related to nursing and earned several grants related to improvement in patient outcomes and service.
Prior to joining Prince George's Hospital Center, Ms. Robertson was the clinical administrator specializing in women's and children's services at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center.

Ms. Robertson obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Lenoir Rhyne College in Hickory, North Carolina.
She received her Masters of Arts in Healthcare Administration from The College of Notre Dame of Maryland in Baltimore, Maryland.
She is certified in nursing administration through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and as a childbirth educator through ASPO Lamaze.
