From the New Hope Modernists to the Bucks County Impressionists, Joan
has spent the last 15 years working within the arts.Beginning her career in New York City, she worked the floor of Art Expo as an independent agent representing a variety of contemporary artists.
In 1987 she
collaborated with Roy Pederson and the Michener Museum
to bring to light a small group of avant-garde painters from the 1930's and 40's referred to historically as the New Hope Modernists.Joan
spent the early part of the 90's
selling investment art as the director of the J. Richards Gallery
in Englewood, NJ.
