Joachim Coche works at the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) in Basle and is responsible for asset management services.
Prior to joining the BIS, he worked at the World Bank Treasury where he was responsible for developing asset allocation strategies for the Bank's fixed income portfolios.
Before joining the World Bank, he was a senior economist at the European Central Bank, where he was responsible for developing asset allocation strategies for the ECB's foreign reserves and domestic assets.
Before joining the ECB in 2000, he worked for DZ Bank, Frankfurt, and advised institutional clients on their investment process.
main interests include strategic asset allocaton, interest rate modeling, and financial modeling.
Joachim holds an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. degree in Economics from the University of Osnabrück.
