The instrument crushed the freezer, which was removed as part of the investigation of the cause of the blaze, Madsen said. The Ohio State Fire Marshals Office has ruled the fire was arson.
The church was insured and insurance inspectors have inventoried the structure and its contents, Madsen said.
Church leaders and members are awaiting an insurance settlement, he said. Proceeds from the concert will help cover costs not paid through insurance.
Everyone tells me replacement cost isnt quite what you think it is, Madsen said.
