Captain Jimmy Gagliardini of High Caliber Charters had his customers into some kingfish in the 30 pound range on light tackle in Hawk Channel this week, so be ready for those smokers with a 20 pound spin outfit with a live bait and a trace of wire.
Experienced Captains like Jimmy Gagliardini of High Caliber charters (305-395-0915) know that many times, it's just a matter of finding out where they're biting. He did just that this weekend landing three nice black groupers, two large mutton snappers, a few amberjacks and a few kingfish. Unfortunately, Capt. Jimmy recently had his camera stolen so we haven't gotten a picture yet. Nice job anyway Capt.

Important to remember when taking kids fishing is the necessity to provide immediate and constant action regardless of the size or glamour of the species; queue the Spanish mackerel.
