The couple were involved in benefitting the towing business of Bunnell City Commissioner James Flynt, according to the report.
The commissioner was charged with battery in February after he
went to a car sales lot and demanded payment for towing a vehicle.
Flynt manhandled a manager and an employee at the business and Lisa Murray, 41, responded to the scene to demand that Flynt's bill be paid.
John Murray's charge of official misconduct is based on his allegedly steering towing business toward Flynt's
[Bunnell Commissioner Jimmy Flynt, owner of Saxon's Wrecker Service] company instead of rotating among three authorized wreckers.
Lt. John Murray and his wife Lisa were allegedly towing vehicles illegally after traffic stops, and funneling the business to city commissioner James Flynt.

At this point, he
has not been charged with any crime, but that may be just a matter of time.
