SMALLEY NAMED PROGRAM MANAGER OF SERVICE ENTERPRISES, INC. MARSHALL, Minn. - Oct. 25, 2005 - Jim Smalley has been named Program Manager for Service Enterprises, Inc. (SEI).In his new role, Smalley will serve on the nonprofit organization's Executive Team and will oversee the operations of Marshall office, as well as will work with businesses to develop work opportunities for people served by SEI. Smalley comes to SEI after five years with the Southwest Minnesota Private Industry Council, Inc. in Marshall.He has 10 years experience as a social worker in a variety of settings, and has recently served as an adjunct social work professor at Southwest Minnesota State University.Smalley earned his bachelor's degree in social work from the University of St. Thomas and his Master's degree from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis.Smalley has served on the boards of directors of the Lyon & Lincoln Counties Chapter of the American Red Cross, Women's Rural Advocacy Program, and the Marshall Community Services Advisory Board.He has also been a baseball and football coach in Marshall and Cottonwood over the past 10 years.Smalley
