Jim Sieck, director of health, safety, security and environmental for the Tulsa, Okla.-based company said the fire was first reported at around 1:45 a.m. Tuesday and required the efforts of several area fire departments to extinguish.

"It was in the warehouse end of our warehouse/shop building," Sieck said."It was primarily contained to the warehouse portion, but we did receive some smoke and water damage to the rest of the building."
The cause of the fire, which Sieck said appeared to have started inside the building, was unknown Tuesday afternoon.Explorer Pipeline is planning to send an investigator to the site Thursday morning to conduct a probe.
Sieck said the daily operations of the facility will not be affected, "other than people's offices are not usable, but they all have portable PCs."
