Jim Knopf requires no introduction in the world of Landscape Architecture. He holds a Masters in Landscape Architecture from the University of Michigan. He has held professorships at UC Boulder and the University of Georgia to name a few. Mr. Knopf has authored a half dozen books about with waterwise landscapes and plants. His academic prowess is complemented by his Peace Corps stints in Kenya and East Africa. Currently Mr. Knopf stays heavily involved in landscape projects close to his Boulder, CO home.

Jim Knopf is a renowned expert in the design and implementation of Xeriscape and has been at the forefront of the "movement" since the early 1980s when he worked with Denver Water on this revolutionary approach to landscape design.
