Jim Jennings -- Drums/VocalsJim, a.k.a. "Mayor MaddHoss", began his professional music career at The Factory in downtown Mt. Sterling, playing in a five-piece band for four hours for a total of $75.Since then, Jim has been part of many bands, including Detour, Sylent Tyger, Goldrush, The Mickey Baker Band, Ken Carlyle and the Cadillac Cowboys, Dr. X, and Western Illinois University's Drumline and Steel Drum Band.According to Jim, he's experienced some pretty impressive things musically that include spandex, contact highs, flat tires, blown speakers, starvation, angry crowds, wet T-shirt contests, vomit, a plethora of guitar player egos, cancelled credit cards, theft, and lots of fun. Some of Jim's pastimes include road trips, Hooters, beer, open fires, meat, and slamming liberals. Both on- and off-stage, Jim uses ProMark sticks, Stihl chainsaws, any drums that work, WonderRoast Chicken Seasoning, Remo and Evans heads, Anheuser-Busch, Speedo thongs, Duct Tape, and everyone's favorite, Fruit of the Loom.Beeb's gear includes Jim and Jon's mics and monitors, Steve's bass and amp, and some of his own stuff, including a Kurzweil SP76 and a Roland VR760 organ/synthesizer.

Jim Jennings of Madd Hoss Jackson sent me a text at about 6:30am today asking if it would be cool to drop by our studios once they were done performing on the KHQA-TV morning show.

Madd Hoss Jackson made an appearance Friday morning on KHQA, and during their visit drummer Jim Jennings delivered a hysterical weather report.
While we wouldn't recommend that Jim quit his day job, we've seen worse...much worse, in fact. At least his segment was supposed to be funny! That's not always the case.
