In the wake of an investigation into pornographic images found on Henrico County School Board member Jim Fiorelli's school system-issued laptop, his state employer reviewed the contents of his work computer and found no inappropriate images.
...Fiorelli is a real estate lawyer in the state attorney general's office. The review of Fiorelli's desktop computer at work came shortly after an investigation by the Henrico School Board into the contents of his laptop computer.
Inappropriate materials were discovered on Fiorelli's
school-issued laptop in early August, when he
brought the machine in for repair for the fourth or fifth time. The board hired outside counsel, who reported last month that thousands of pornographic photographs and videos had been accessed on the machine over six months.Fiorelli
maintains that one of his
sons was responsible.
While the audit doesn't show who downloaded the pornographic material, Fiorelli's critics have questioned the timing of some downloads.
For example, on Dec. 22, someone used the laptop to access a Virginia state e-mail site, then three minutes later accessed pornographic sites for about 19 minutes, then two minutes later retrieved e-mail from a Yahoo account, according to the report.Fiorelli
's lawyer said that Fiorelli had used the computer, stepped away for a few minutes to take a shower, then returned and used the computer again.
