...James Bellanca, Adjustment CounselorMr. Bellanca brings a variety of experiences and passions into his role as the Adjustment Counselor at Framingham Community Charter School.He received his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross.Mr. Bellanca then lived in Camden, NJ for a year as a member of the Jesuit Volunteer Corps working with elementary and middle school students as a youth group leader, coach, physical education teacher and outreach worker.He then received a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Boston College and has been licensed as a Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts since 1997.Mr. Bellanca has worked in a number of school settings as a clinician and administrator, including Dearborn Academy, The Gifford School and The Merrimack Special Education Collaborative.Mr. Bellanca also worked with elementary and middle school students as a group clinician at The Academy of Physical and Social Development in Newton, MA for six years.Prior to coming to FCCS, Mr. Bellanca was working with children and their families as an outpatient therapist at Children's Charter Trauma Clinic in Waltham, MA. One of Mr. Bellanca's greatest enjoyments is his role as the Director of Running Brook Day Camp in Waltham, MA, where he has now worked for seven summers.

is passionate about a variety of outdoor activities, particularly mountain biking, golf, hiking and snowboarding.Music is a key component of his
