Jill D. Seltzer
Vice President, Institutional Advancement
As Chicago Public Media's vice president of Institutional Advancement, Jill
is responsible for working with the professional staff and Board of Directors in all efforts aimed at securing philanthropic support for the station.
Prior to joining the staff of Chicago Public Media in July 2008, Jill was the Orange County program officer for California-based Weingart Foundation.
She is a former executive director of the Lloyd A. Fry Foundation in Chicago and former associate director of Prince Charitable Trusts in Chicago.
She was also the director of five productions of the Philanthropic Follies in Chicago.
In 1997, Jill
was awarded Professional Grantor of the Year by the Chicago Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals
Jill has a B.S. in Music from Mt. Holyoke College and a certificate in alternative Dispute Resolution from University of California at Irvine.
Originally from Cheyenne, Wyoming, Jill
resides in the Streeterville neighborhood of Chicago with her
husband, Scott, and enjoys spending time with her
three children and grandchildren.
