Jill Seltzer (Managing Director) joined ETC in February of 2016. For the past 20 years she has provided leadership to non-profit organizations and foundations, with much of her work focusing on the creative arts. Most recently, Ms. Seltzer served as Executive Director of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, overseeing offices in Los Angeles and New York. Prior to WBEZ, she served as Program Officer for the Weingart Foundation in Los Angeles, Executive Director of the $150M Lloyd A. Fry Foundation in Chicago, Associate Director of the Chicago based Prince Charitable Trusts, and was Director of Marketing for Chicago's fabled Auditorium Theatre.
Ms Seltzer attended Mt. Holyoke College. She has held leadership positions at the Council On Foundations, Chicago Women in Philanthropy, the Independent Sector, the Wise Giving Alliance, and the Donors Forum of Chicago and was named Professional Grantor of the Year by the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

March 14, 2016 - Santa Barbara, CA - Ensemble Theatre Company (ETC) at the New Vic, Santa Barbara's leading professional, resident theater company, welcomes new Managing Director, Jill Seltzer. The new position will work in partnership with ETC's Executive Artistic Director on the company's next phase of development.

For the past 20 years Ms. Seltzer, now a nonprofit management consultant, has successfully provided leadership to non-profit organizations, with much of her work focusing on the creative arts. Most recently, Ms. Seltzer served as Executive Director of Screen Actors Guild Foundation where she expanded its StoryLine OnLine Literacy program to an international audience of 3 million views/month, and managed the design, construction and staffing of a new New York City Actors Center, complete with voiceover studio and computer lab.
As Vice President of Institutional Advancement for WBEZ Chicago Public Radio, Ms. Seltzer completed a highly successful $15M capital campaign and built a staff of professional fundraisers responsible for raising $3M in annual support. Prior to WBEZ, as Program Officer for the Weingart Foundation in Los Angeles, she led an $8M Orange Country grant-making program. In 2004 she founded Consultants 36, which supported nonprofits with management and operations, research and strategic planning and facilitation. From 1994-2004 Ms. Seltzer served as the Executive Director of the $150M Lloyd A. Fry Foundation in Chicago. She served for 8 years as Associate Director of the Prince Charitable Trusts, and was Director of Marketing for Auditorium Theatre in Chicago.
