About Jill

www.jillseale.com [cached]

Jill Seale had a busy graphic design studio in Washington D.C., designing for events, public relations, advertising, corporate a nd political projects...
and something was brewing... she had a deep yearning, a need to paint. She illustrated and handlettered for her project, "keeping the human touch" in her work. In a creative burst, she pillaged through her miles of files and piles of pictures of things she loved, wanted, craved, yearned for. She thought about what made her laugh, what made her happy to be surrounded with. Jill wanted Paris at her fingertips, flowers that bloom year round, bees that don't sting...so she hand painted these things on linens so she could 'have it all.' She offered them to stores and they ate them up. After a feature in Victoria Magazine, orders were overwhelming from shops around the country looking for Jill's handpainted designs, so she began licensing her art to manufacturers. Jill comes armed with a sense of humor from years of 'combat sarcasm' with her siblings. She is genetically programmed with artistic ability from Mom, and formally trained with a degree in Fine Arts, courtesy of Dad. Her unique wit and playful illustrative hand offer an original brand of whimsy and creative problem solving. She loves to apply her talents to a community or philanthropic project. When she's not designing, she occasionally does stand-up comedy, has run the Marine Corps Marathon, fosters dogs, and loves to travel. Jill resides in Charlotte, NC with her dashing husband, brilliant daughter and Dean Martin, their black lab, whose idea of a dirty martini is pond water. And the paint flows happily ever after. © Jill Seale 1997-2013 . HGTV's Cari Cucksey of Cash & Cari success recently launched the very comprehensive tool EstateSaleSearch.com and tasked Jill to come up with the logo. Jill's creatively-charged studio originated as a full-service graphic design studio in Washington, DC partnering with clients for events, PR, marketing, advertising, corporate, branding, associations and political projects. Over a decade ago Jill began licensing her personal designs to manufacturers on wide range of products which blossomed into a strong branch of the studio. Jill's extensive product and production knowledge provides her with unique combination to bring more creative horsepower and branding power for her clients. In the gift industry, she is most known for her humorous and habit-forming Nun for the Road® line. Jill is affectionately referred to as "Queen of Wit". Her cheeky designs have appeared on a broad range of products from tabletop on dinnerware to the tippytoes of babywear. Jill launches off on the excruciating joys of motherhood in her new book Stark Raving Motherhood! From pilfering Halloween candy to choking on third grade math, she admits what most mothers won't...but all secretly relate to. © Jill Seale 1997-2015.
