A true Midwesterner - born in Canton Illinois, and raised in Sioux City, Iowa - Jessica
is no stranger to the cold.Jessica attended college at Morningside College, in Sioux City where she played centerfield for 4-years for the Chiefs (She's still upset that they changed their name to the Mustangs after her Senior year).
During college, she
worked at the college radio and TV. station, doing play-by-play color commentary for their college basketball teams, which gave her
Jess the itch to continue on after school.
After interning at a Sioux City station and coaching softball for two summers at the high school level, Jessica
had to stay in the field of sports somehow.She
got a job out of school at a Sioux Falls TV station as a producer and news reporter.At the end of a two-and-a-half year stint with the station, Jessica had become a full-time news/sports reporter and fill-in sports anchor.
is covering sports fulltime, and is only a few hours away from her
family.Even when she's
not working, Jess
finds herself surrounded by sports.Jessica loves playing golf, tennis and catching local games without having to hold a camera.
