Thursday's ceremony included comments from NSA-PC Commander Jessica Pfefferkorn, a 21-gun salute, and the laying of a wreath in the water at the Navy base's recreational marina.
Military personnel from NSA-PC's commands ran in formation 2.2 miles through the installation after the ceremony, in recognition of those who lost their lives at Midway.
Pfefferkorn said that the Thursday's event was the first time there she had presided over a formal ceremony of that kind since she became NSA-PC commander.
