Ronald G. Zirkle (known commonly as Jerry) was born in Akron, Ohio, in 1937.
At that time Jerry
continued to minister with his
brother Bob, on the radio, until 1970. Jerry received the baptism of the Holy Ghost in 1975 and left the Evangelical Congregational Church, where he had been Sunday School Superintendent and chairman of the board.Jerry became a member of Living Water Fellowship in Akron, Ohio which was a non-denominational church.
In 1978, at age 40, Jerry
home in Ohio to attend Rhema Bible Training Center
, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.His
entire family: wife and five children, traveled to Oklahoma with a 4'x8' trailer containing their lifelong treasures.
During Jerry's second year at Rhema
traveled to Guatemala, Central America, for eight days on a mission trip, where his
younger brother Jim had moved one year earlier to become a missionary.While in Guatemala, God spoke to Jerry
, telling him to return to America, where he
would be a greater blessing than on the mission field. Jerry graduated from Rhema in 1980.He

After receiving an ordination from Living Water Fellowship
brother Jim co-founded Living Water Teaching
, a mission organization to reach Central America.Then, in 1982, Jerry began pastoring the homebase church for Living Water Teaching in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.The Lord
to be a spiritual covering for the work in Central America; and as a place for training new missionaries that were going to work there.
In 1986, Jerry
started to broadcast over the airways via radio all across the state of Oklahoma.Today he
still ministers on the radio singing the New Creation realities and ministering as a psalmist and pastor.His
daily broadcasts can be heard on radio stations in Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Virginia, Ohio, Alaska and the Sky Angel.
In 1987, Living Water Teaching Church
merged with Cornerstone Church of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma
.Under Jerry's leadership the two congregations became one.Over the next 12 years Living Water Teaching Church
and its missions outreach grew to have over 400 church members and 100 missionaries in Central America, Japan, Germany, Africa, and South America.Under Jerry's direction, this local church provided a base for training men and women to build the Kingdom of God at home and abroad.In 1994, at the Lord's instruction, Jerry resigned from Living Water Teaching, and once again began traveling the United States and Canada preaching, teaching, and singing the wonderful works of Jesus, setting the captives free, and bringing men and women face to face with the revelation of God's word.
In January 2000, Jerry Zirkle
began Our Finest Hour Church
in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, which has grown rapidly.Today 160 people call it home and it has a full scope of children's ministry from babies to youth.Pastor Jerry preaches God's Word in a clear and bold fashion setting a high standard of excellence in both spiritual and practical applications.
