Pastor Jerry ZirkleRonald G. Zirkle (known commonly as Jerry) was born in Akron, Ohio, in 1937.
...
At that time Jerry continued to minister with his brother Bob, on the radio, until 1970.
Jerry received the baptism of the Holy Ghost in 1975 and left the Evangelical Congregational Church, where he had been Sunday School Superintendent and chairman of the board.Jerry became a member of Living Water Fellowship in Akron, Ohio which was a non-denominational church.
In 1978, at age 40, Jerry left his home in Ohio to attend Rhema Bible Training Center, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. His entire family: wife and five children, traveled to Oklahoma with a 4'x8' trailer containing their lifelong treasures.
During Jerry's second year at Rhema, he traveled to Guatemala, Central America, for eight days on a mission trip, where his younger brother Jim had moved one year earlier to become a missionary. While in Guatemala, God spoke to Jerry, telling him to return to America, where he would be a greater blessing than on the mission field.
Jerry graduated from Rhema in 1980.He then crisscrossed the United States 47 times, traveling thousands of miles, watching God perform signs and wonders through the preaching and singing of His Word.
After receiving an ordination from Living Water Fellowship, Jerry and his brother Jim co-founded Living Water Teaching, a mission organization to reach Central America. Then, in 1982, Jerry began pastoring the homebase church for Living Water Teaching in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The Lord directed Jerry to be a spiritual covering for the work in Central America; and as a place for training new missionaries that were going to work there.
In 1986, Jerry started to broadcast over the airways via radio all across the state of Oklahoma.Today he still ministers on the radio singing the New Creation realities and ministering as a psalmist and pastor. His daily broadcasts can be heard on radio stations in Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Virginia, Ohio, Alaska and the Sky Angel.
In 1987, Living Water Teaching Church merged with Cornerstone Church of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.Under Jerry's leadership the two congregations became one.Over the next 12 years Living Water Teaching Church and its missions outreach grew to have over 400 church members and 100 missionaries in Central America, Japan, Germany, Africa, and South America.Under Jerry's direction, this local church provided a base for training men and women to build the Kingdom of God at home and abroad.
In 1994, at the Lord's instruction, Jerry resigned from Living Water Teaching, and once again began traveling the United States and Canada preaching, teaching, and singing the wonderful works of Jesus, setting the captives free, and bringing men and women face to face with the revelation of God's word.
In January 2000, Jerry Zirkle began Our Finest Hour Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, which has grown rapidly.Today 160 people call it home and it has a full scope of children's ministry from babies to youth.Pastor Jerry preaches God's Word in a clear and bold fashion setting a high standard of excellence in both spiritual and practical applications.
