This marks the addition of industry veteran Jerry Rubino as joining the commercial alternative department with decorated promoter, Rob Wilcox.
On the broadcast side of things, Rubino served as producer/programmer for specialty programs at New York's WHTZ (Z-100) andWLIR.
In the programmer role, Rubino
also helped build numerous stations at the previously separate satellite radio giants Sirius and XM.
Some of those include Alt-Nation
, First Wave, and Left of Center (now called Sirius XMU), as well as music director duties for The Loft.
Also serving as on-air talent for Alt-Nation and The Loft, Rubino arranged and hosted more than 450 live artist sessions.
most recent tenure at CBS Interactive Music Group/Last.fm, he
arranged and hosted close to 300 live sessions.
Earlier this year, Rubino returned to radio promotion, working as an indie promoter for Bastille, Grouplove, Phoenix, Portugal, The Man and MS MR.
