A water-skier and powerboater since he was a boy, Nordskog was a crew member of his father, Bob Nordsko's racing team and competed numerous times in the Catalina Ski Race, a 62-mile endurance race known as "The Worlds Greatest Water Ski Race."Nordskog most recently served as the producer and promoter of the 1996 APBA Ventura National Offshore Powerboat Grand Prix.
He received his associate's degree from Pierce College in Woodland Hills, Calif., where he was the sports editor of the school paper.
Nordskog and his wife, Gail, have six children and live in Ventura, Calif.
