Jerry Mungadze, Ph.D., L.P.C., has over 18 years of experience in the trauma field.Dr. Mungadze's formal education includes a M.A. in Biblical Studies from the Dallas Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education from the University of North Texas.His graduate and undergraduate studies focused on psychology, theology, counseling, and cults.
Dr. Mungadze is also the Founder and President of the Mungadze Association outpatient-counseling center in Bedford, Texas.He established one of the first Dissociative Disorders Units in 1989.Currently the unit is located at Cedars Hospital in DeSoto, TX, where he and his clinical staff provide this unique and specialized program for trauma victims.In addition, he is an adjunct professor at Dallas Baptist University where he teaches in the counseling department on trauma disorders.
Dr. Mungadze is a national and international recognized authority in the areas of dissociative and trauma related disorders.His seminars, workshops, and case consultations have benefited clinicians, pastoral counselors, and law enforcement.

Mungadze, Ph.D., founder of the Mungadze Trauma Programs wrote the Foreword to the book.
We suspect that publishers Simon & Schuster and Mungadze did no more fact checking about multiple personality disorder and its controversial diagnosis than other publishers have done. Numerous recent memoirs have been exposed as untrue.

Jerry Mungadze, Ph.D., a native of Zimbabwe, offers Christian treatment for victims of trauma. He received his Ph.D. in Counselor Education at the University of North Texas, Denton, Texas in 1990. His Trauma 1 classes at Dallas Baptist University are reputedly very popular.

Mungadze is the author of the foreword for Herschel Walker's upcoming book "Breaking Free," which is to detail Walker's struggle with multiple personality disorder.
"I know he works with a lot of unusual clients who will fly in from all over to spend time with him," Becerril said of Mungadze, who has a Ph.D. in counselor education and a minor in psychology from the University of North Texas.
Mungadze, who has not returned phone calls or e-mail messages for the past two days, is the director of the Mungadze Trauma Programs in Bedford, Texas.One of the cornerstones of his practice and his teachings is the evaluation and treatment of multiple personality disorders.
Kelley said Mungadze has a reputation as a DID expert.
Becerril said that Mungadze, a native of Zimbabwe, has said that treating DID was not his intention but rather became a calling.
Mungadze had a conversation with this girl and found out she had been traumatized by her grandfather.Mungadze was able to negotiate those feelings with the young girl until she and her host personality were at peace with the personality of the grandfather.
