Jerry Cochran, President and CEO
Jerry Cochran was born in Iowa in 1945, the youngest son of a large family of builders, which allowed him to learn and practice the different construction trades from an early age.
From 1963 to 1967, he served in the Navy, where he was supervisor for the main distribution center of an aircraft carrier, in charge of maintaining the electrical systems for the entire ship.
earned a rank of E-5 and oversaw the work of 20 other shipmates.
From 1967 to 1973, while attending college, Jerry worked as Property Manager for an income property investment company.
was responsible for supervising the entire property portfolio, including accounting functions, maintenance, evictions and collections.
Jerry obtained his B.A. degree from the Bible Institute of Los Angeles and his M.A. degree from Cal State Los Angeles, specializing in Education, Finance and Accounting.
In 1973, he
first business, Cochran and Associates
, an insurance agency which specialized in Executive Estate Planning, Retirement and Investment Counseling and Tax Planning.
Since 1980, Jerry
has participated in numerous real estate projects in Southern California, specializing in developing income property projects and forming joint ventures with various financial partners.
As a General Contractor, Jerry
is skilled at processing entire construction projects, from financing, to planning and engineering, through all phases of construction and sale.
Over the last ten years, he
has also established a substantial Construction Services company, specializing in the remodeling and interior/exterior finishing of custom homes, working mainly in the coastal areas of Laguna Beach, Corona del Mar and Newport Beach.
Jerry now brings his extensive experience and corresponding expertise in management, public relations, administration and construction, to this exciting new project, Oak Crest Investments, Inc., which offers both large and small investors an opportunity to enhance their investment and retirement programs through Real Estate-secured investments.
