Served active duty air/security police units at Laredo AFB, WA. Chief of Security Police, TUSLOG, Ankara, Turkey. Served in Vietnam as Resource Manager for Chief of Security Police, 7th Air Force. Returned to the U.S. to an assignment with the Air Staff in Washington D.C. Follow-on assignments: Chief, Security Police, 15th Air Force (SAC); Chief, Security Police, Tactical Air Command, and last assignment as Deputy Chief, U.S. Air Force and Vice Commander of the Air Force of Security Police. Awarded AFCM w/3 OLC, AFMSM, Bronze Star, and the Legion of Merit w/3 OLC. Retired 1981; currently serving as Executive Director, Air Force Security Police Association.

He retired as the Deputy Commander of the Air Force Office of Security Police, the number two security and law enforcement position in the Air Force. In the early years of intercontinental ballistic missiles Col Bullock served as a crew commander with the Atlas ICBM system. After returning to the security career field he served as Chief of Security for all U.S. Forces in Turkey and Greece; Chief of Resources, HQ 7th Air Force, Republic of Vietnam; Chief of Law Enforcement at HQ USAF; Chief of Security for 15th Air Force (Strategic Air Command); and Chief of Security for Tactical Air Command. After retirement he practiced as a professional counselor, was Director of Human Resources at Tracor Aerospace, Inc. in Austin, and with his wife established the Creative Education Institute in San Marcos. Concurrently he helped to found the Air Force Security Police Association in which he continues to serve as Executive Director Emeritus. His decorations include LOM w/2OLC, BSM, MSO, and AFCM w/2OLC.
