Dr. Horner's Blog
enjoyed a career of 47 years as a university professor and administrator.
During that time he was the founding dean of the School of Divinity at Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia, where he served for thirteen years, the chairman of the theology department and later the dean of the graduate School of Theology at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and the chairman of the theology department at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri.
He has also served as the president of Bethesda Christian College in Anaheim, California, the dean of Peniel College of Higher Education in Brentwood, Essex, England, and the dean of the School of Religious Studies at Beacon University in Columbus, Georgia.
Dr. Horner received the B.A. degree from Union University and the B.D., M.Div., and Th.D degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Dr. Horner is a divinely appointed teacher "in faith and truth" (1 Tim.
2:7). Since being ordained and becoming a pastor at the age of 18, he has served as pastor and interim pastor of churches in Tennessee, Texas, Missouri and Alabama.
