Jennifer Deamud, Associate State Director
Jennifer is responsible for developing strategic partnerships, overseeing the accreditation process, writing proposals to sustain funding, monitoring of stakeholder reporting, and managing statewide communication strategies.Â SheÂ assists with long-range planning and program development, maintains key statewide relationships with stakeholders, partners, clients, and media.Â Jennifer is an accomplished communications professional with 20 years of communication, strategic planning, and media relations experience.
Jennifer serves on numerous committees and boards, including the Grand Rapids Chamberâ€™s ATHENA steering committee, WGVU Engage Committee, Grand Rapids Opportunities for Womenâ€™s (GROWâ€™s) fund development committee.Â Jennifer also spends time volunteering with Mel Trotter Ministries and has spent several years volunteering with the Special Olympics.
Jennifer enjoys giving back to her local community by volunteering at the Byron Center Schools, being aÂ Girl Scout Leader, and serving on the Byron Days Festival Board
Jennifer has a Master of Public Administration, a Master of Science in Communications, and a Bachelor of Science in Advertising /Public Relations from Grand Valley State University.
