In 1987 Ms. Montgomery
transferred to the San Antonio District Office as a Business Development Specialist where she
remained for three years before returning to Dallas.
While in San Antonio, Ms. Montgomery attended the University of Texas at San Antonio.
In 1990 Ms. Montgomery
was selected as a Business Opportunity Specialist in the then newly formed Division of Program Certification and Eligibility.

When the Dallas Regional Office was restructured in 1995, Ms. Montgomery
was transferred to her
current position as Business Opportunity Specialist in the Dallas/Fort Worth District Office where she
provides assistance to the firms in her
portfolio as well as assists the general public understand not only the 8(a) Business Development Program, but the new Small Disadvantaged Business Program and the HUB
Ms. Montgomery served in the U.S. Army Reserves for fourteen and a half years working with the only field medical brigade in the United States.
She worked in the personnel division of the brigade headquarters before finishing her career as the Supply Sergeant for a dental headquarters.
hobbies include reading and taking care of her
two cats and a dog.
