Dr. Jeff Stout –Ph.D., CSCS, NSCA-CPT- ConsultantDr. Stout has a diversified background in the exercise sciences.However, his major fields of expertise are sports supplements, neuromuscular fatigue, and body composition analyses.He has over 70 published manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations in nationally and internationally recognized journals.He currently serves as assistant professor at a major university and is the director of the Human Performance Research Laboratory.His teaching responsibilities include courses in exercise physiology, statistics, research design, and biomechanics.In addition, he serves on the editorial and review board for Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise and for the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research.In collaboration with Jose Antonio, Ph.D., he is working on a textbook that will turn the sports nutrition industry on its head.The book, Sports Supplements (publisher-Lippincott Williams & Wilkins), will have contributors that are among the best and brightest of the scientific world.The book will be available in the summer of 2000.
