Jeffrey Manners Chief Executive Officer
Jeffrey has a keen interest in the history of Central and Eastern Europe, which he studied for his first degree, and has lived and worked in the region since 1982. He holds degrees from Colgate University, Ludwig-Maximilians Universit├Ąt and the Thunderbird School of Global Management
He started as an underwriter with AIG in New York. After working in London he became the senior property underwriter for Northern Europe. In 1982 he moved to Vienna to be the underwriting manager of EAU, AIG's joint venture with several state owned insurers.
He was recruited by Marsh in 1990 to build their Central and East European network. As the CEO of Marsh CEE/CIS he established a network of 28 offices in 16 countries. Since 1995 he is also the Chairman of BIPAR's (the European Federation of Insurance Intermediaries) European Transitional Economies Task Force by which he has a taken an active role in the helping to shape the insurance regulatory environment in the CEE region.
In 2008 Jeffrey joined MAI as Chief Executive Officer.
