Jeffrey D. Kabot Mr. Kabot has spent the majority of his career specializing in debt and equity financings for middle market companies. Prior to co-founding MezzCap Partners, Mr. Kabot served as a Director with Levine Leichtman Capital Partners, a $1 billion private equity fund that makes subordinated debt and equity investments in middle market companies. Prior to joining LLCP in 2001, Mr. Kabot was a Senior Vice President, Director of Private Placements for Sutro & Co., originating, structuring and marketing private offerings of debt and equity securities.

Mr. Kabot began his investment banking career in 1988 with Drexel Burnham Lambert. He continued with Drexel through its reorganization process as part of the workout team managing Drexel's $3 billion high yield bond inventory. He joined Dabney/Resnick (now Imperial Capital) in 1992 where he specialized in middle market private placements for acquisitions and recapitalizations, before joining Sutro & Co. in 1995.
Mr. Kabot earned his M.B.A. from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA, and a B.S. in Economics, magna cum laude, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He recently served as President of the Environmental Affairs Commission for the City of Los Angeles and is a member of the advisory board for the Riordan Program at UCLA.
